As business owners, we all know how important testimonials are. Having a third party say something positive about what you do, proves to prospects you are up to the job.
Before Covid came along, we were already living in a world of customer commentary, with sites like Trustpilot and TripAdvisor. As more of us have moved online, this review culture has become more entrenched.
What does that mean for your website?
Whenever you get a new visitor, do they expect to see up-to-date client comments?
Probably. (Don’t you, as you weigh up whether or not to buy something from another business? If you’re like me, you go straight from their home page to their testimonials and case studies.)
And, if you’re anything like me, you keep meaning to ask your supportive customers for their feedback. But for whatever reason, it slips down your to-do list – even though you know that just one remark from an ideal client on how you helped them solve a problem/reach a goal, could bring you rewarding new work.
Depending on the size of your business, that means hundreds, or thousands more pounds in your company’s bank account, thanks to a few well-chosen words from one of your clients.
Do it in no time at all
I say, ‘for whatever reason’, but actually I know one of the big reasons is time.
You don’t have any.
Depending on where you live and how infection rates and vaccinations are doing, your clients won’t have much of it either. Not if they, like you, are covering for colleagues and doing the extra work alongside stints of home-schooling.
Make it easy for your clients
That’s why I have created a course which gives you the tools to get testimonial quotes from clients in a way, and at a time, that works for them.
They don’t have to write anything. They don’t have to think.
They just have a quick chat with you (in 10 minutes or under) and you come away with a focused testimonial that makes your prospects say to themselves, “That sounds like me! I need some of that, now.”
Make it short and simple for yourself
To help you get the testimonial quotes you need quickly, the core video content of this course only lasts 10 minutes. It also has downloadable templates, where I do all the thinking for you. You won’t need to work out the questions to ask your clients. You just need to do the talking. (Because apart from having no time, I doubt if you have much brain space either.)
You also get 2 Backstage Bonus Videos. They take you behind the scenes, to where I interview two of my clients and show you the testimonial quotes you can come away with in the space of a 2-minute and 7-minute chat.

The course goes live at the start of March 2021 – the month when my business marks its 10th anniversary. It seemed the right time to package up a decade’s worth of knowledge – plus 24 years’ experience of interviewing at the BBC – and turn it into something you could use in 10 minutes, to help you grow your business at this toughest of times.
And because we are all trying to find our way through this pandemic, I’ve priced nearly 35 years of knowledge at a level which will make it easy for you to get the testimonials you want and deserve – £49 (+ VAT)

Get to the front of the queue. Never feel guilty again about not getting round to it. 10 minutes is all you need. This course shows you how.
